Where the whole room goes under.

Formerly known as Group Drop, Hypnotic Theatre is an 18+ group built around a simple bit of stagecraft: one hypnotist, hypnotizing an entire group at once. Whether you're here for the spirals or just to watch from the back row, you're welcome to come chat & chill, or think or sink. Every show is Group+ and judgement-free - newcomers and seasoned subjects alike take a seat together.

Group trance & stories

Settle in for a guided hypnotic story - a vending machine, an alchemist's potion, a quiet monastery - written to help the whole room relax, drift, and let the worries drop away.

Stage hypnosis & open mic

Watch volunteers take the stage, or grab the mic yourself. Event nights and open mics are where hypnotists try new inductions and the audience becomes the act.

Cinema & socials

Movie nights, comedy showings, and our Friday Jamboree. Grab some popcorn, find a seat, and chat & chill with the rest of the theatre - no trance required.

  1. Respect consent. Hypnosis here is always opt-in. No one is brought under, touched, or singled out without their say-so.
  2. Show the 18+ Verified badge. Join requests are approved once your VRChat 18+ verification is visible - this is an adults-only group.
  3. Don't be weird. Be kind, read the room, and keep the theatre a comfortable place for everyone.

Performances are SFW by default and clearly labelled. Hypnosis is for entertainment and relaxation and is specifically not used as therapy or medical treatment except by licensed professionals.
